two humility 2005 - love like living in the past

Mmmmm...Hi?

Guess what.
I finally managed to log in after 8 tries.
Is it time for spring cleaning already?

Time flies.
The last time we met was...lemme scroll down, my memory is failing me.

17 June 2009.

And I am very surprised there are still people coming to this blog.
I don't even do that anymore.
(I know la, cos it's me who always blog here so I know if it's updated or not right?
Can don't spoil my joke not.)

Oh someone from Moscow landed here!
Привет!

I am so great at digressing.

December is coming.
February is coming.
A levels is ending.
December and February holidays are coming.

Let's say the next time we meet is during the 2 weeks Poly December holiday.
That would be 6 months since the last time we met.
If we're only meeting in February, that would be 8 months.

Wow time really flies.
And for the uncountable absentees from the previous gathering, it is even longer for them.
I hope they at least yearn to meet us.

February is good.
December holidays many people might go overseas, December Poly only have two weeks break, everything is more expensive in December.

February is bad as well.
JC people who are waiting for results might already be working, hardworking Poly people might be studying the Year 3 syllabus even though Year 2 just ended.

Is it that hard to just meet once in....er.....8 months?
It actually is.

I figured I won't ask you guys if December or February sounds better.
Because I'd rather ask a wall.

Don't have to tell you who wrote this entry as well.
I'm the only soul left here.

Enjoy Mid-Autumn Festival anyways~

Nonjudgmental

I miss looking unglamorous.
I miss not caring how I look.
I miss walking out into the public with my hair just out of the shower.

I miss secondary school where nobody cared if your hair looked like shit.
I miss secondary school where nobody cared if your buttons were bursting.
I miss secondary school where we saw each other at our ugliest.
I miss secondary school.

This is the reason why I dare to look my worst in front of you guys - even until now.

I miss school. Do you?

So if you guys still want a gathering, do plan it alright?

I'm talking to nobody actually.
Nobody responds here.

Nobody nobody but you~

Very easy to read map.

You know, I really hope many people come on both nights.
Does it matter if there's not much to do?
It's a gathering, not schooling right.
It doesn't have to have activities lined up like a timetable what.

If everyone thinks that the first night is boring because very little people will be going, then there will be nobody going at all!

Anyway, there might be night cycling on the first night, apart from other activities you can think of.
So come if you want!

Attached is a map of the place if you guys are unsure of how to go:

Blue line is Downtown East.
Brown line is last year's chalet.
Red line is this year's chalet.
There is a small gate at the Black arrow, but you can walk to our chalet from the outside as well.

Will message you the time and room number soon!

See you there! ((:

Back!

Wait, wait...
Some of you are thinking of coming on the first night, while most of you are thinking of coming on the second night.

I don't get it.

I don't see how gathering at a same place on different times can be considered a gathering.

And we've said it, but I'll say it again.
If you choose to only come on one day, I'm sorry you'll still have to pay that full amount.
The chalet rooms are not booked according to the number of heads.
It's the number of days we use it.
We still have to pay the exact amount no matter how many come on the first or second night.

I hope I don't have to say it straight to anyone on that day.
Because really, money just spoil things damn easily.

More over, it's just an annual once in a year kind of thing.
Why can't you guys just go for two days since you've already paid...
(technically not yet)

I always sound like I'm the bad guy and I hate it.

More updates after tomorrow. (:

xoxo y'all!

i still want to dye my hair.

So I'll take it that 35 people (or more) are confirmed going to the chalet.

Which leaves...

I. First week's Monday to Wednesday morning.
(3D2N)15 to 17 December.
1. Caiyi

V. Keep In View.
1. Abigail
2. Weitong
3. Guanling

VI. No Response or Not Going.
1. Marie
2. Angie

6 of them.

Notice they're all girls, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

No wonder our class is the only Humility class that has more guys than girls.

-smirks-

--

35 x $22 = $770
$770 - $540 (chalet) = $230

Sherlene's mum has decided to not only sponsor chicken wings.
But also otah and satay.
And maybe beehoon, maybe.

RULE #1:
NO SITTING ON BEEHOON, NISHA OR ANYONE ELSE ALIKE!

Off to do other stuff.
Shall update you guys when more stuff are...updated. Duh.

Btw, I just remembered.
I think only Jasmine is allowed to pay lesser than the full amount.
It's only fair, right.
For the others who are paying the full amount and you refuse to eat/drink/stay, that's really out of my control already.

Quoted from tagboard:

guanling: i think everyone should pay the full price whether they are staying or not cos its meant to be for us to stay but since we're not , its us making a loss . besides , we're still gng there to make a mess and the poor ppl sleeping there are gna have to clean up . so everyone shut up , pay , go and eat and try to sleep .

Thank you ((:

ARGH.

We've decided not to book Costa Sands Pasir Ris' 2 storeys chalet.
And have decided not to book Costa Sands Downtown East 1 storey chalet.

We're booking this:

Costa Sands Resort (Pasir Ris)
Premier Room:
Single-storey.
2 Single beds with 2 pull-out beds.
Fully air-conditioned.
Towels.
Television Set.
Electric Jug.
Refrigerator.
Attached bathroom

This is at Costa Sands Pasir Ris but it is only 1 storey.
2 Rooms for 3d2n = $540.
Cheaper than $660 or $600.

And if the already stated 34 people (from Category III and IV) pays $22 each.
We'll only have $748.
$748 - $540 = $208 for food and miscellaneous.

Which is not a lot.
And people who are not staying for 2 nights will not want to pay the full amount.

So yeah, YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO?

Chicken wings is sponsored.
Anybody else wants to sponsor other stuff?
Haha.

Even nonsense like satay sticks, charcoal, fire starters, aluminium foils, plates need money.

We would really appreciate if nobody complains about the price or fail to pay up or anything.
Because I don't print $$$ you know.

Even the crap HIHS anniversary dinner costs $20.

Guang suggests that 1 day save $1 from now, by the end of 20 something days, you'll have it already.
And it doesn't look like a lot if you save $1 per day.
If you don't like that idea, you can save $0.50 per day too.

P.S. the $22 is just a gauge.
It is not yet confirmed, but it is around there.

And if you say you can't afford it, don't let me catch you going to the anniversary dinner.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

i want to dye my hair.

Wow! Mad updated her blog!
Miracle of miracles.

So has...Abigail, Weitong, Guanzhong, Guanling, Marie and Angie come to a consensus?
Going or not going? Replying or not replying?

On a side note, this blog is not all about the upcoming chalet.
Post anything about our ex class here, whatever you like!

Who wants the login and password, tell me okay.
(Once again, nobody would do that, but bear with me because I'm just doing my part to inform)

Sher, is the chalet room booked?

- Shaun

Saturday, October 18, 2008

Choices, again...

Updates updates!

2 choices for chalet room:

ONE:
Mad's cousin can book Costa Sands Pasir Ris (located behind Down Town East)
1 room for $300.
2 levels though, first level living room, second level bed room. (rather small I heard)
There's a small space outside of the main door.

TWO:
Sher's auntie' can book Costa Sands Down Town East (the same one as last year)
2 rooms for $300.
Exactly the same one as last year, so no 2 levels.
So we hope we get the first floor, if we book this chalet.
Because it's more convenient for going out, for bbq, for games, for drunk people to not climb stairs.

So yes.
Which do you guys prefer?

And now that the chalet rooms are cheaper.
We can all pay less.
Like example those that come one day might not want to pay the full price.
So yeah, we'll settle this after the chalet is booked. :)

Thanks to the two girls for the hard work!
And everyone that chipped in to help! :)

--

After very much thought.
I've decided that you guys don't have to choose.
We'll choose.
Thanks for your co-operation!
^^

To Be Announced.

Mad, or Caiyi, or Ning, or Jingyi, or Aman (Mad said that), suggested that since we are celebrating Christmas on the 23rd night, we can each bring a present for exchange.
But most people won't do that, I told her.
And some people don't have money to buy presents.

So any of you who wants a Christmas exchange, just bring your presents.
Even if only 2 people brought presents, they can exchange with each other too!

-

Also, Nisha suggests that the bbq should be held on both nights.
(I think she said that I can't remember)
Either she said that, or she said that the bbq should be held on the night where there are more people.

But I don't know who's going for the first night and who's going for the second night.
So this is TBA.
Most people will go only on the second night.

But I really really really hope that many people can stay for the two nights.

-

And the venue is still TBA.
Mad is trying to ask for lobang for $50 per night kind of chalet.
So that each person will have to pay less, and we will have more money for food & drinks, and even some simple decorations for the Christmas-y mood. Or not no feel, right.

Don't worry, there won't be a Christmas tree.
But if Zhihui wants to bring, she can help too!
Hahaha!

So since the venue is TBA, the price each person has to pay is TBA as well.

Hopefully, we get that $50 per night chalet.
Although it's further, and a little more inaccessible, no midnight movies, no convenient Macdonald's around, no Wild Wild Wet / Escape Themed Park a stone's throw away, it's all worth it, right?
$300 compared to $50 per night.

Let's chant.
"It's all worth it, it's all worth it, it's all worth it..." for a thousand times.

But alas!
We might not get that room.
Hope hope hope!

Any more suggestions, please send them comin' in.
Ya, most people won't do what the above sentence said...

Evil I 'are' back!

Why is it there are still people not responding?
15 in fact.
Might be the promos. Or some people doesn't know this site exists.
Let's just wait for more responses until 12 October.

And if you are not free or whatsoever, please just inform.
Don't wait for me to wait for you to wait for me to wait for your response.
I am not a site tracker so I do not know who came and knows about this or who doesn't.
Be initiative okay? =D

Guang you want to fly kite also can!
Hahaha!

Oh ya, anyone unhappy with the prices mentioned on the previous post?
If you think I'm here to shoot you all, no actually, I myself isn't happy.
But there's nothing much we can do.
Peak period, you know.
It's either more than 30 people come so we can have more $ for food and miscellaneous, or it's raise the money collected, or it's bread and canned food for 2 nights. I'm just kidding! =D

Lunch will not be provided, likewise from last year's.
Coins for cards and mahjong playing will not be provided as well.
Injuries from falling of chairs and barbeque pits will not be insured.

So what would be provided, you ask?

Dirty beds, definitely.
Free "photo shoots" by professional photographers.
Card and mahjong games winnings (possibly from Guanzhong! Hiak hiak hiak!)
Endless screaming.
Water for the tanks -.-"
Food!
And most importantly, a whole lot of fun and a whole lot of love!!!

Oh, one thing about food.
Anyone willing to bring food (cooked or raw) for the chalet? [sure nobody de...LOL]
I think Sherlene is bringing chicken wings again.
Keep them comin' in, no harm huh!
=D

For the dates, try to make a decision okay?
For the 10 of you under Category IV.
And maybe the other 13 who has yet to respond to this.

Cheers to 2 Humility 2005!

- Shaun
